SD Associates, P.C. Focuses on Giving Back to the Community

At the heart of SD Associates, P.C. are shareholders and team members who understand the
importance of giving back to the community in which they serve. In 2022 alone, between the
company and its team members, over $15,500 has been raised and donated to various
charitable organizations throughout the area.

As a company, SD Associates, P.C. donated $2,500 to the Breathing Room Foundation in honor
of team member Debbie Hartnett’s work with the charity. The Breathing Room provides care
and support to local families affected by cancer.

The company also donated $5,000 to Girls on the Run, an organization dedicated to
strengthening confidence in young girls while fostering care and compassion for self and others.
This is an organization that is important to Michel Brenner and his family, and his wife serves on
the board.

Summer Search, whose mission is to unleash students’ potential through mentoring and
transformative experiences, was the recipient of a $5,000 donation by the company. This
organization is close to Howard Drossner’s heart, and his wife Pamela Lehrer serves as Board
Chair.

In addition to these donations made by the firm, the company also held their annual charity
golf event in July, which raised close to $50,000 for local charities.

Currently, the firm is working on organizing a day of volunteerism for their employees, which
will give them the opportunity to spend a day away from the office so they can provide hands-
on help for a local charity.
